Our Presenter

Danielle Ripperton, CFRE, Director of Development at Peter Paul Development Center.  Danielle had no idea when she started as a work study in the advancement office at University of Evansville (Indiana) that it would lead to a life of fundraising. Working in a nonprofit during and after college was the next catalyst. After obtaining her master’s degree, Danielle found her true calling: to raise funds for causes that enhance the lives of children.

Returning to Evansville, Danielle’s primary employment was as the Director of Development and Marketing and then Interim Executive Director for the Children’s Museum of Evansville. After moving to Richmond, she followed a calling to join the team at Peter Paul Development Center in August 2011 as the Director of Development. She feels blessed to have found Peter Paul, its students and families, the East End, and the incredible people who are involved in advancing Peter Paul’s mission.

Danielle holds a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Music Management with a business minor from the University of Evansville. She holds certificates from Indiana University’s Fundraising School and University of Richmond’s Institute on Philanthropy. She serves on the Board for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Central Virginia Chapter, currently as the President, and for the James River Singers; she is also on the Advisory Board for University of Richmond’s Institute on Philanthropy.
